As a bit of an Easter treat, I thought that I would share the beautiful wedding of Krista & David. They are such a great couple with amazing families and their day had such a focus on family that was so special to witness. I particularly loved how they used old photos of their families as centrepieces and also the way they celebrated Krista's family's South African culture throughout the day.  And how awesome is playing musical chairs instead of the bouquet "toss"! The reception was held at Lake George Winery just outside of Canberra. x

A few weeks ago I had the honour of shooting the beautiful wedding of Camille and Mathew at Terrara House Estate near Nowra. It was an amazingly styled white wedding set in one of the most spectacular estates I have ever seen. Terrara House was the home of the legendary two time Melbourne Cup winner, Archer. The dreamy driveway is lined with English elms, and the seven-bedroom house comes with stables, tennis court, swimming pool and gardens, and is set over 6.8 hectares of beautiful countryside. I had so much fun being a part of Camille & Mathew's special day. They are two of the sweetest people I know. x

This shoot happened over two amazing days and while we are so proud of what we achieved, I am truly thankful to have gotten to know these beautiful women and had such a blast with them! I can't wait to work with them again.

When I was home at Christmas, my best friend Taleah & I were talking about how we never really took the time to explore and appreciate all the amazing hidden locations that our hometown had to offer. So we grabbed my camera, some balloons and jumped in the car and drove around until we spotted places that took our interest. It's crazy to think that we would drive past these places so often for years and never even noticed them. Spontaneous shoots like this are some of my favourites. You have no plan, no rules, no time frame. It's simply you and the camera, just for the fun of it! Here is what our afternoon driving around Maitland looked like.

A few weeks before Christmas I had the absolute pleasure of collaborating with some crazy talented ladies for a styled shoot. The concept behind this shoot was the celebration of a brides individuality and personality. For example if Athena was getting married today, what would she be like? Would she wear white? Or would she mix things up? Maybe a gown that had an interesting, personal style to it. It was an amazing 2 days of wandering deep into pine forests, secluded patches of grasslands and wildflowers. I hope you enjoy part 1. I will be posting part 2 soon. BEC & MILES

Bec & Miles were married in the garden of Bec's parents beautiful property in Sutton. I was completely in awe of the gorgeous house and surrounding bushland!  It was the perfect place for their relaxed afternoon tea reception. All the beautiful bunting was hand made by Bec and they spent the months leading up to the wedding collecting all the gorgeous tea cups and plates from thrift stores. And how amazing does the bridal party look! I love the individuality and colour! Congratulations Bec & Miles! Your wedding was a dream to shoot! x

After all the guests left this awesome party, Bec, Miles & I headed out into the property to take some portraits. They didn't even care that it was raining the whole time!
